2019I am so pleased to be Marie’s Simpsonville SC Simple Maternity Studio Photographer. This mama blesses me so much! She’s funny, caring, she curses a little, she loves these children with a fierce and gentle love and I mean how perfect is her little family? We’ve done two sessions together so far and I just can’t wait to meet this surprise baby number 3 later in this month.
I think that Marie’s best quality is encouragement. I can’t count the times that she’s messaged me or commented on a Facebook or Instagram post at just the right moment in time. It’s such a gift to have a person who just cheers you one and Marie does that beautifully for both friends and especially for family.
I loved being amble to pamper Marie for a bit in a style she doesn’t normally wear. We all had a little giggle as she came out in these gowns as they are totally not her everyday style, but really we turned her into the goddess she actually is. 
Really, these images are what it FEELS like to be cared for by Marie. Gentle loving attention with a little no-nonsense sass on top. I adore her.
Marie, I can’t wait to find out the gender of this little one and watch Gia and Frankie become big siblings again. Enjoy these last few days with little one on the inside and rest as much as you can. Thank you so much for always being an absolute joy to work with!

2019I was super excited when Heather asked for Greenville SC Simple Timeless Newborn Baby Photos for her brand new baby Reagan Della. Heather said she had been watching my work for a long time and loved my simple baby focused images. I was SO excited to work with her.

But, as sometimes happens in newborn photography, Reagan just wasn’t feeling sleeping. She nursed about five times. She rocked a million times. She may have dirtied 4-6 diapers and backdrops. I got lots of beautiful snuggles. Heather fed herself, me, and her sister with a chocolate bar from her purse at one point as the session stretched over typical lunch times.
This session was sort of every mama’s worst fears of their newborn session. I know that Heather left feeling a little discouraged, but I knew that we had captured Reagan perfectly.
When she opened her proof gallery, Heather sent these words. “I could not be more in loveeee!!! Seriously, I cannot wait to pick these out ❤️❤️ Thank you so much!”
I’m sharing this story with you because I know that you have fears about your session too. The truth is sometimes baby has a bad day. But it also pays to hire someone with almost a decade’s worth of experience who can make your baby’s bad day look like this.
I loved all of these precious facial expressions. From confused, to happy, to this full tongue hanging out smile. Are you kidding me?! How cute!
But my favorite images are these mama and baby ones. Reagan just loved being with her mama and you can see that comfort in these images.

2019I was so excited to do Grace Anne’s Timeless Natural Studio Sitting Milestone 6 month Pictures Simpsonville SC! I have had the joy of watching this little nugget grow since her earliest weeks.

It’s truly amazing to see how much they grow in just a few months. I can’t believe this sweet girl is the same baby now at seven months old. It’s just too fast. The nights are long, new mama, but the days are oh, so short.
I loved Grace Anne in this sweet romper from my studio wardrobe that was made by the lovely Lydia’s Hope Chest. I provide these wardrobe items for both boys and girls to use so you don’t have to purchase a lot of one time only outfits for your portraits.
I especially loved watching her nibble on her little toes . I mean can you even fully comprehend the sweetness?
And let me tell you, Grace Anne is as sweet as they come, but that doesn’t mean she’s lacking in personality. Check out these faces! From “Give me that camera now,” to “My mama is being so silly to get me to smile,” to “You, photographer lady, are ridiculous and all I can do is corny laugh at you,” Grace Anne has it all covered!
And still I can’t resist capturing all the little details too. These TOES!
For the second set, we used this purple romper and this unicorn headband (from Dearest Dreams).
Grace Anne was tuckered out at this point during the session, but I just love these mama cuddles we caught right at the tale end of our time together. I would have been so happy if these were the only images that we captured. They completely melt me.

2019Meet Graham and Liam who came in for their Greenville SC Timeless Studio Baby Mini Session. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about doing a mini session with a 2 year old and 7 month old. Two year olds are notorious wild cards. I am never sure what will happen in the studio.
Graham was the best kind of two year old. A little shy and reserved, but completely easy to win over with tickling, silly faces, and “driving” his brother into him like a bumper car. I had an absolute blast playing with Graham and Liam.
And to top it all of Graham was super obedient. We got him to kiss and cuddle on command. I had to be quick to click the shutter, but these sibling images are so rare to capture at two.
I just love the playful tenderness in this image.
Liam seems to have the exact opposite personality as his brother. He was a total ham for the camera. Smiles and eye contact and even stayed seated most of the session. But I assure you, he can crawl super fast, too!
We also captured a quick family image. I love it so much when clients want to be in the frame with their kids. These images are memories for their children, too. Our children want to remember how we looked and, most of all, how much we loved them from the very beginning.

2019Cassie and Micah were amazing for their Simple Timeless Studio Maternity Photos Simpsonville SC.
They were my favorite type of client: love to laugh, super laid back, fun, so in love, and beyond excited to meet their sweet baby boy. We had so much fun.
Color or Black and White? I can’t decide on the following image!
Cassie is one of the smallest mamas that I’ve ever had in the studio. I was so pleased that this piece in my studio wardrobe fit her with some cleaver use of a safety pins. I stock a wardrobe for mamas from sizes small to 3x. I want everyone to feel beautiful both during their maternity and their newborn session. It’s one small thing I can do to make session planning a little easier for you.
As she said, her beautiful skin and dark hair gives Cassie an amazing snow white vibe. I really like this beautiful charcoal dress that she brought with her. There’s something about timeless clothing that just highlights the emotion in imagery.
I especially love this image and how it truly gives you a beautiful picture of Cassie and Micah’s anticipation and love for their little boy.
Cassie and Micah, I can’t wait to meet your little guy and find out what his name is. You’re going to be amazing parents and I’m so grateful that I get to witness your love multiply into a family.
